A recently opened Amtrak train station is located on the western side of General Mitchell Airport, at 5601 South 6th Street. Known as the Milwaukee Airport Railroad Station and often abbreviated to just 'MARS', this station can be reached by using covered walkways. From here, trains run to Milwaukee and Chicago, from where connecting trains depart to destinations nationwide.
Taxis are available at General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) from right outside the terminal entrance in the center of the traffic island. Wheelchair-friendly taxis are available on request.
Limousines can be booked ahead of time online or by telephone. Rates are not particularly expensive for the added comfort that traveling by limousine after a long flight provides.
